Arrival Story: I lost my little Cavalier King Charles to a freak accident last year. She was my "baby". I had been looking for the perfect companion since then. I was depressed, having lost my husband in 06, and lost 2 homes, a business and a job I was feeling hopeless and dejected. After a long, long search and several adopted dogs who didn't work out, I saw an ad for pugs. I have never been much of a "pug person" and didn't understand why people who had them seemed to be so pug crazy. When I saw these little faces something tugged at my heart and I just had to see them. The people had only had one other litter and this was to be their last. Another woman who had adopted one from the 1st litter a few years before came back for a puppy because she loved the 1st one so much. The puppies were about 1/8th Boston Terrier. I fell immediatly in love and brought her home that day. She has been a ray of sunshine in my life; making me smile and laugh every day. I have moved in with my daughter and grandchildren while I get back on my feet and she took one look at Zoe when I brought her home and we went the next day for her to get Zoe's sister (Chanel, as in Coco Chanel).I have to say that I have caught a very serious case of the Pug bug.
Bio: Zoe is an unusual color for a pug (maybe from the boston terrier). She not only has brindle coloring but as you can see from the picture that half of her is brindle and half is fawn.
