Likes:
He loves to hang out on the back porch and watch the squirrels. He hopes one day to catch one for interrogation!
Pet-Peeves:
When Shadow plays by herself. He tries to jump in and get her to play with him. He hates to be ignored.
Favorite Toy:
Depends. Usually whatever toy his sister is playing with. He loves the carrot or hippo mainly.
Favorite Food:
Anything raw, like chicken or beef. He loves his peanut butter biscuit cookies. He also likes his Innova Dry Kibble, and Merrick's wet food like Wingaling or Turducken. Lately, he's big on Evanger's 1/2 cans of Pheasant. Yum!
Favorite Walk:
He loves to visit the river near Caribou in the summertime. He really enjoys going to the dog park as of late, and has taken a liking to some of the agility obstacles like the see-saw and ramp. He's also really good at jumping!
Best Tricks:
He speaks almost perfect English! Sometimes you can understand exactly what he's saying. He has an amazing vocabulary, and you can tell from the tone of his voice if he's hungry, frustrated, playful, or tired.
Arrival Story:
After the passing of our beloved Beauregard, we found that we still had room for another loving pooch in our home. We adopted Ullr (pronounced "ooh-ler") from the Denver Dumb Friends League in April of 2006.
Bio:
Ullr is the Norse God of Skiing, Hunting, and Archery in Norweigan mythology. We found the name to be fitting since his predominate breed, Siberian Husky, gives him the light blue eyes and double-coated fur. He is half Husky, half German Shepherd. He's a little bit bigger in the chest and his saddle is a little darker, much like that of a GSD. Plus, his ears are more pointy like a GSD. Other than that, he carries most of the usual traits in a husky. He also loves to talk!
