Arrival Story:
She was born on Easter Sunday and one of a fairly good-sized litter. The second I went to pick out a puppy I saw her and knew she was the one. It was love at first site.

Bio:
Akeyna thinks she is a human. My neighbor calls her a dog snob. She would rather be with a person than a dog any old time. There are few exceptions to that are: one is her brother, Chintu, a 3 year old Shih Tzu and two her borther, Suede, who passed away 4 years ago. Akeyna is the best dog I've ever had. She minds every command you give her and she is so smart. She also has the biggest heart in the world. Her brother Suede was a blind Shih Tzu, and they both loved to go to the dog park and walk. One afternoon while at the dog park a Golden Retriever puppy was fast approaching Suede, who couldn't see what was going on. Out of no where Akeyna, came to Suede's rescue and "tackled" the puppy and knocked him off course sending him another direction. She didn't hurt the puppy, just knocked him out of the way.
