Arrival Story:
My partner and I were looking for a black Shih Tzu (we had lost one a year earlier to cancer) to a sibling to our other dog. We had researched breeds in 5 states...on the day we went to meet him when we picked him up for the first time he instantly put my finger in his mouth...that's all it took. We tell everyone he picked us, we didn't pick him.

Bio:
Chintu means "Soft, little, cute one in Hindi". Our good friend's two year old son gave us the idea for the name. I asked him what should we name the new puppy and he said "Soft, little, cute puppy". Well we knew that wouldn't do, so we reached languages in Asia to find a word that sounded good and meant "soft, little, cute". So Chintu was born. Chintu loves his sister, Akeyna, very much. He can't go anywhere without her. She is so good to him...when it's cold or wet outside and they are outside for a little while, she lets him lay on her back. He is such a "Prince".
