Gemma is visiting!!!

Today seemed like a normal, regular day. I was over at work, but since it's Saturday, Mom brought me home and put me with the other guys. Then, off she went, somewhere.
Finally, she came home. She put us all outside, then, she opened the shed door and out came my sister, Gemma and my favorite playmate, Lola. We went off to play in the snow field, and Gemma and I ran and ran and ran.
We asked Gemma's Mom if she could stay here with me for a few days. I couldn't believe it, but Mom said she could stay with me for a few weeks, or even for a month!!!!!!
WOW, we were speechless! Now, we are both back in the old puppy pen, having a blast with all my new Christmas toys. I sure hope Gemma doesn't chew them all up, BOL!
Mom says she is sure there will be MANY more photos in the days to come!!!

Family Christmas, NO SANTA!!!

Well, Mom made me stay home from the party today! Imagine that?? It was VERY, VERY cold and snowing and she said I am too young to stay outside that whole time and it was too cold to stay in my crate in the car. Since I am a baby still, I couldn't go in the house either. Actually, NONE of the labs got to go into the house except Gator cuz he is older now. Even Ali had to stay outside and she lives there!!!
Mom said it was okay but she had to come home early cuz of the ice and snow. There isn't much but it is VERY. VERY slippery and she slide right past our driveway!!! When she went to leave both Gator and Alfie jumped right into her car and settled down for a ride. I guess they remember they BOTH used to live here??? I would have welcomed them!
Mom put some of their photos on my page cuz they are my relatives!
She says she is staying inside now, BOL!

Diary of the day!!!

woohoo, Mom said I was the diary pick of the day today!! That's cool, everyone can see my neat Santa suit, hehehe.
I am over at Mom's work entertaining the day care dogs. They LOVE me cuz I will play and play and play and play all day. It's pretty fun, and cuz I am still young I get to go out with everyone.

I get to be Santa!!!

Next week Mom is going to her family Christmas party! It is HUGE, she had six brothers and sisters and now most of them have children who now have children. And, most of them have labs, too... in fact, there will be FIVE labs (and Beanie, he thinks he has to go, too!)
Anyway, I am invited and today Mom was Christmas shopping and found me a cool Santa suit. I tried it on (and, Mom got some photos), so Mom and I decided I will get to be Santa Claus at the party!
As long as someone reads the tags, I can carry the present to the right person, no sweat! I carry stuff ALL the time and I don't even rip the edges or drool on the stuff.
I couldn't write last weekend cuz Gemma was visiting me ALL weekend, even on Friday!!! She came down with our Grampa, and he even stayed here with us!!
Too bad the weather was bad and we had to stay inside most of the time. At least it snowed a bit so we did get to play in that. It was FUN!!! Mom says it's supposed to snow again tonight. I hope so!!!

Growing up!!!

Mom says I am growing up and out...I now weigh almost 45 lbs!!! Mom says fortunately, I am my ancestor's boy and I am calm and level headed! And, for some reason, (NOT because Mom taught me, hehehe), I am a wonderful leash walker. I always keep the leash loose, and I usually stay on Mom's left side, except when I need to cross in front of her.
I am a bit of a jumper, BUT... I don't jump ON anyone, I just jump right straight up in the air in front of them, BOL! Works for me... some people don't realize I am NOT going to touch them and they get a bit nervous...hey, that is THEIR problem, not mine.
I was having a problem pooping in my crate during the night so Momsie moved it into her room. I have been clean ever since! I did think I was supposed to sleep on that warm water bed but Mom says so far I am too into chewing stuff that isn't mine and there are way, way too many things to destroy in the bedroom. Sure, sounds like an excuse to me!!
I do love playing with the other dogs here, especially Crystal and Lola. I also like to chase Zena and Riley and Barney when they run like crazy, but I am a bit nervous about them biting me... they never have but they do have SHARP teeth.
Speaking of teeth, Mom is surprised that I have NEVER used my teeth on anyone. I do put peoples hands in my mouth, BUT I never let my teeth touch their skin. Mom didn't teach me that, she says it must be from playing with Gemma so much. But, she did always move her hands when I was smaller so I couldn't try to bite them...maybe that worked???
BUT, I do have a MAJOR biting issue. You see, the girls at daycare toss a biscuit into my crate so I will run into it. That is okay, but once I am in, they hand me another one. Well, I must admit, I do get VERY grabby about those biscuits... sometimes too grabby and do meet a bit of skin on their hands. I did it to Mom the other day and she said NO MORE BISCUITS handed to me, they can only be tossed into my crate!!! That'll work, I guess???
Today was my day to have my Christmas photo taken... both Mom and Tonya were dreading that like CRAZY. I surprised them all, including myself, hehehe, and sat nicely on the table!!!! Mom said she will put them all up AFTER Thanksgiving!

A Diary Pick for ME!!!

Mom said I was a diary pick today. She actually told Tonya to tell me that cuz I was stuck in the kennel with my brothers and my sister while Mom went off to the beach.
I fooled her, though. When Tonya came in this morning I met her at the front door, BOL! Riley has been teaching me how to climb out of pens and I learned really well, hehehe!
Anyway, guess Mom will bring me home tomorrow! I deserve to go home, I am sick of babysitting for my brothers and sister!
BTW, thanks for your visits and gifts everyone. I heard that Beanie was also a diary pick, but I am pretending it was only me, BOL!

My visit with Gemma

Well, first I had to go on a fairly long ride with Mom and Julia. Seems they were meeting Gemma's Mom for lunch BEFORE our play time. Harumph, I could have stayed home and rested up for the visit!!
Finally, we got back here and Gemma and Auntie Jeanne were right behind us. Too bad it was raining, but Mom and Auntie Jeanne didn't care so we went down to the big yard instead of the chickie/lab pen. (I was down there yesterday with Skye and I ate as much chickie poop as I could so I didn't need anymore today, hehehe!)
Anyway, of course, Gemma proceeded to jump right into the pond!!! I had to rescue her with the net and right after that, I slipped on the side cuz she got it all wet and kersplash, in I went. Fortunately, she rescued me!!
Anyway, we had a blast playing down there. Mom and Julia took photos for my page. Finally, we were totally beat so Gemma went home and I went to take a LONG nap!!

Visitors for ME!!!

Hey, after a boring few weeks Mom just told me that Gemma is coming to visit on Sunday! I am so excited to see her again.
It's not like I don't have any friends here...all the house dogs LOVE me, and every day I go to Mom's daycare and play with the dogs there. But, Gemma is my sister, after all!
Mom said she would lock the chickies in to the upper pen so Gemma and I can go play in the lab pen. That will be loads of fun!
Mom also said she would be taking my twelve week photos. Finally!
Oh yeah, Lola is also coming on Sunday. Auntie Jeanne thinks she is pregnant but she is still having some bleeding so she wants Mom to keep her here.

Lonely, I'm so lonely...

Last night Auntie Jeanne came along. You will NEVER BELIEVE...she had my daddy Cash with her and he and grammy Emma (his mom), slept in MY house!!! They were on their way home from a dog show and they stopped for Gemma.
Sooo, Gemma and I slept together in my in/out pen for the last time! This morning Auntie Jeanne got up and after she took Dad and grammy out to her car she came in and got Gemma and put her in a crate in the car. Mom came home from work and got ME and took me to work and put ME in that pen over there.
I was NOT happy so I told them ALL how unhappy I was!!! I did get to go on some breaks with them, and Tonya even invited me to lunch. We had pizza and I had to practice my sits for mine.
Finally, it was time to come home and Mom put me outside with the big dogs, eh, the older dogs, hehehe. I am now heavier than ALL of them!! Anyway, we played outside for a while, then we all came inside for dinner. I got to eat in a big dog crate!!!
After dinner we went back outside for a bit and Mom sat with us and watched the chickies and watched us playing. Then, she let us all in the house, and even ME got to play in the living room and kitchen!!! Chryssie and Barney played nice with me and we did some zoomies around the house. Then, I found a shoe and was gonna eat that but Mom put it on the stove and gave me a big, fat stuffed duck instead.
Finally, it was time for bed. I thought I was gonna sleep in the bedroom on Mom's bed but she muttered something about needing her sleep so she put me in the puppy pen. I was tired so I went right off to sleep for a nap!
Tomorrow I am going back to work with Mom and tomorrow night I have my school class again. I can't wait!!!

Almost another weekend already!

Today when Mom came home from work Julia was with her! It seems she is staying with us for the WHOLE weekend! Soo, tonight we went down into the lab pen and played for a LONG time! Mom took photos and said they would be my nine week photos since I am nine weeks tomorrow.
Tomorrow we are going kayaking again, at least I am going kayaking again. Maybe Gemma will have to stay home cuz Julia wants to take Cryssie. I will go with Momsie and Beanie or Toto, if Toto feels okay.
Today my brother Nimitz headed off to Austin, TX, to live. He is flying out to Houston. Tomorrow morning my sister Jetta is leaving, too. And, maybe Gemma is going to leave on Monday, but maybe she will be staying with me for a few more weeks cuz I am such a good influence on her, BOL! Mom has mixed feeling about that...she wants me to start sleeping in her room with her and, while Gemma is here we stay in the puppy pen with the in/out door. Mom says that is easier, because she doesn't have to keep watching me as much BUT she wants me to be learning about being a good house dog, too, and I am not learning much in that pen. Oh well, I am only a baby puppy for a little while and I am NOT learning bad stuff in that pen! Besides, I need to keep Gemma company for a little while!
Well, speaking of that pen, it is time for me and Gemma to head to bed now. We are very tired from running all over the place today!
