"Move over Antonio Banderas, Javier Bardem and George Clooney there is a new tall, dark and handsome leading man arriving, the Boxer known as Amigo! My foster mom made me start with that line, kind of corny, huh? I am Amigo though and I am happy to finally be able to be an LBR available boxer. I had to put on a little weight and get checked out by the vet before they would let me show myself. I am kind of tall, definitely dark with beautiful brindle striping and big brown eyes, and as for handsome, well that’s in the eye of the beholder. I’m 7 years old and still a little underweight but I’m being fed real good now and putting on the weight at a nice rate. I’m living with 4 other boxer brothers and sisters and I get along great with all of them. I haven’t met anyone I don’t love. I get to join the others when they play if I want to but sometimes there are times I just want to chill and watch everybody. And I get to watch everyone from any crate I want. There are 3 crates I really like and I get to move from one to another one anytime I like and sometimes I will move from crate to crate just like Goldilocks looking for a bed. Although I like the crates I sometimes like to lay about, on the floor, throughout the house. My foster dad says I’m as laid back a guy as someone would want and he seems to really like it when I come up to get petted and rubbed all over my body. I do enjoy that so much. Well they tell me I need to put on about 5 or more pounds and they’ll start to take care of a few issues I have. I’m Heartworm positive and I’ll need to have a treatment to get rid of those pesky critters. I also have a slight tear in my knee ligament which will need repair but after they’re done I’ll be as good as new to love and play with a new forever family. "
