This is a medium sized fawn female with natural ears and docked tail. She is about 4 years old. She is a sweet girl kenneled with bin 12467. She has a very pretty face. She is well fed, and her teeth look good. She was calm & not jumpy. She seemed fine with other dogs. She has kennel cough. Pulled from Tri City Animal Shelter. Came in with Trident.

Bio:
Orbit is an affectionate, 4-year-old, fawn female whose big brown eyes will steal your heart! This medium-sized gal was rescued from a kill-shelter near Dallas and immediately impressed her evaluators at how calm she was, given the stressful environment she was in. Orbit is currently heartworm positive, but is otherwise healthy and ready to join her forever family. She is housebroken, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash. She is great with children and has interacted well with small dogs and some large dogs. Her foster family says that Orbit benefits from slow, proper introductions rather than off-leash first meetings. She has not yet been tested with cats.
This laid-back lady absolutely adores human attention and is a big cuddler. Orbit is very loving and is happy just being near her people. Like many large dogs, she is able to scale a fence, so she should be monitored when outside. Overall, Orbit is a very well-behaved dog who would likely be an excellent candidate for apartment-living. She has great inside manners, although she (rarely) gets a bit curious about the contents of trash cans. If you're looking for a devoted family dog, ask to meet sweet Orbit!
