Arrival Story:
While celebrating the New Year in 2010, we met Roxie's half brother at Union Square in San Francisco. Truman was being trained by his owner to sit still along side another beautiful, perfectly behaved lab! Truman was only 3 months old. We couldn't believe our eyes when we saw how well behaved he was in the midst of the hustle and bustle. I asked to pet Truman and it was love at first pet. I had to find out where he came from! I had never seen a lab so gentle, sweet and smart! Long story, short. As luck or as good fortune prevailed, Truman's breeder was having a litter of puppies the following month. We brought Roxie Hart home when she was 7 weeks old and have been in "heaven" ever since!

Roxie Hart is named after the lead character in the play Chicago because she was born in Chicago Park, California. Notice her blonde hair and BIG brown eyes! She is more beautiful than Renee Zellwigger who played Roxie Hart on the silver screen!
