Arrival Story:
My fiance and I wanted a small dog that fit our laid back personality and we were looking online and came across her bio online from a nearby shelter who rescued Ana. She came from a bad home with a rough past and needed patient, loving parents. She was in their special needs/rescue group. We met her once and fell in love with her. The moment we got her home she instantly relaxed and became our baby! It took me about a month to get her comfortable around men, and she was terrified of car rides. After a few weeks of fun car rides to fun places and forcing her to be more social with people she is back to the way she should be. Living the life she was meant to live! She is the happiest dog ever! A few months after getting her she had a bad episode of pancreatitis and was losing hair on one area of her body. We had to switch her to a prescription diet and now she is healthier than ever! Miss Ana listens to every demand and follows mommy and daddy around every where. She hates to be alone!! We take her on two long walks a day and she loves being outside. She will lay and roll in the grass for hours! Ana still has two issues we can't seem to correct. One is she will not play with any dog toy on this planet. We have tried for months and months and still, no interest. We think she wasn't aloud in her bad home? She also is still very terrified of children of all age groups. I think she had kids, as well as her male owner abuse her. We're hoping in time we can some how make improvements in these two areas. I have always heard that min pins were extremely hyper dogs. Not miss Ana! She just cuddles up next to me and can sleep the day away. Not sure if its because her past owner over bred her or what but I won't complain. She is healthy and happy and she truly saved my life. I never use to like dogs really until my little Ana Banana. Now I am madly in love with her and couldn't possibly imagine my life without her. Sweet, gentle, and loving are her three words Id use to describe my very happy little girl.
