helping mommy

mommy stopped breathing during an absence seizure

last night I was chewing on my squeaky hotdog, when I looked up and mommy didn't look right. So i went over to her and nudged her with my muzzle and barked hoping she would lie down( I could tell a bad seizure was about to happen.) when nuzzling and barking did not work, I put my paws on mommy and knocked her down.. in a few minutes mommy passed out and stopped breathing... I started licking her fast FAST to get her to wake up and breathe again... mommy started gasping as her mommy was calling 911 to get an abulance for her. it was all very scary for a beginner service doggy like me! I rode with mommy to the hospital in my orange doggy vest( so others would know I am here to help). mommy was given Ivs and things to help prevent further seizures and keep her breathing. We came back home today and mommy has a new machine in our bedroom to help her breathe at night or when she feels a 'spell' coming.. thats why I am here :)
