Favorite Walk: three times around the apartment complex
Best Tricks: being adorable, playing fetch or at least trying to...sometime the ball is too big for his mouth
Arrival Story: I looked all over the internet for a reputable yorkie breeder and called several people who sounded like they ran a puppy mill or were a total scam. Then I finally found the YTCA and contacted several of their breeders. They were all very nice, however the one I talked to ended up cancelling my appointment to drive 2 hours to look at my potential puppy at 10:30 the night before. I was hoping to drive up to her place the next morning and put a deposit on the puppy. Then he would be ready to come home with me in two months when I moved to a new apartment (my old apartment did not allow dogs). After she called and cancelled I was very disheartened and thought about just getting a puppy from one of the websites I had found even if they were puppy mills. I pushed that thought out of my mind and waited a week, then I found a small breeder in PA that had 2 boy puppies available. I drove up to his place and brought Zyekies home...well home to my parent's house where he would spend the night and then go to work with me for the next two months. I couldn't stand being away from him all evening and night, so I rushed around and found an apartment to move into in a week. So I'm paying double rent for two months, but my little Zyekies is worth it. I just want to thank my parents for letting my little bundle of joy stay with them for the first 10 days.
