Arrival Story: Carson was given to me as a gift. The former owners wanted him to go to a home where someone is home during the day. He was the runt of the litter and was not salable. He is a happy and loving boy who is going to be my service dog.
Bio: Before we had him for a week he broke one of his front leg when he tried to jump out of my arms. He has a great vet who took really good care of him. After his leg healed it broked again, he was only about 16 weeks old. He was in a splint spilt for quite some time, but he was a champ. It did not keep him down. Unfortunely after that leg he broke his other front leg when I was putting him down to go potty. This time he needed to have a plate and screws in this leg. The vet did not want him to be hindered in any way. You could not tell he had his legs broken. He runs and jumps like any other dog.
On his way to becoming my service dog. He has completed his beginning and intermediate obidence class. He is enrolled in a Canine Good Citizen Class now and July will begin his service dog training.
Carson is so good for me I have both medical and mental disabilities. Next month we are attending PSDS Conference in Pacific Grove, Californa.
He fit so well with our family I have two other dogs and two cats that he gets along really well.
