It was confirmed Rascal had mange, not DM. Two weeks after we turned him over to rescue we asked to adopt him, but they wouldn't let us because of the lack of a fenced in yard. Instead he'll be a playmate for a one year old Sheltie who was recently adopted from our rescue. That will be better for him anyway since our older Shelties really don't want to deal with his puppy attics. I'm told he is doing very well so far. Good luck little guy.
