I had been looking for a herding mix for a while since I have some health issues I wanted a dog that I could teach to do house hold tasks but would keep focus without being to high energy. So when I found this lab/heeler mix, he was the perfect fit and continues to be the best decision I ever made.

Question about Natural Balance

Popple is super smart and at 9 weeks, already knows sit, down, fetch, drop it, tug, walking on leash, and is house broken. Of course I'm waiting for the rebel teen phase where I'll have to refresh everything but we'll deal with that when it comes. He sits quietly in his pen while I teach my classes. When I need to stop moving for a minute he calmly sits next to me and waits for me to regain my footing. When I'm feeling good and ready to have some fun he is right there with me and ready to play fetch or go for a fun walk. I'm so proud to have such a wonderful dog in my life.
