Are you looking for a hiking buddy? Maybe a trail running partner? How about a dog who happily greets strangers and loves to be by your side? Then look no further, Bobby is the dog for you. Bobby is an adorable 2 year old black tri Aussie weighing approximately 37 pounds. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. He is crate trained, solidly housebroken, and rides nicely in a car. He is currently living in a foster home with 5 other dogs ranging in size from a small Papillon to a large Aussie. Bobby gets along with all of them. Like many herding dogs Bobby can become excited in busy, stimulating environments, however, the use of a Gentle Leader out walking helps keep him in check. Bobby shows interest in cars and bikes so a traditionally fenced yard is necessary for him. Bobby's perfect home would be with someone who is active and wants a dog to take hiking, jogging etc and would also enroll him in a basic obedience class to help him finetune his commands. He would do best in an environment without lots of bikes and cars. Bobby would be happy as an only or with doggy companions. Due to Bobby's energy he will not be placed with young children or cats.
