Arrival Story:
Our neighbors offered her too us telling us that she was too infested with fleas for them to deal with. The woman who offered Foxy to us actually had just recently gotten the dog from her mother who spent $600 for her as a puppy but for 6 years after that "could not find the time for her". I currently live at home with my mother with my own dogs. And she has been wanting a small breed for herself. And so she was all about taking Foxy in. I have given Foxy two baths and three trims in one day to rid her of her flea problem. Her head and ears were just coated in dried blood. I had not planned on shaving her bald, head and all. But the fleas were gathering on her nose/eyes and she just had to be shaved bald. She has now been frontline treated and a flea cannot be found on her. I think she feels much better. She will have a great loving forever home that will give her the love and attention she deserves

Bio:
Because of Foxys past she really didn't know how to be a dog or interact with other dogs. Almost a month after we have taken her in and she is almost a completely different dog. She has lost some weight, she is much more tolerant of the other dogs she even initiates play!. She does have some OCD issues we are working on compulsive licking is a big issue but it's getting better. She is also venturing around the house much more than she used to. Her potty training is a work in progress but what can you expect from a 8 year old dog who was never house trained? She does very very good though.
