So sad. :(

I was about to joyfully announce that Cachis found a family to take her in, until said family texted me and said they couldn't take her in after all. :( Now, Cachis is still without a place to go. Here goes the search for a new home, again. Please pray for Cachis!

Clean bill of health! Thank you, Jesus!

I almost forgot! I meant to tell you guys that Cachis' yearly physical was a success! I'm sure the vacs were not fun to take, but my girl's a champ. Now she can say that she's a healthy pup with all her vacs updated! =D Healthy puppy makes for a happy puppy! She also met other dogs like her, bigger than her but I think she scared them more than they scared her. LOL. She kept barking at them boisterously and tried to approach them but they moved away. Ha! I can actually say that her bark is worse than her bite, for sure. ;) As her owner, I have come to understand that she's distrustful of big dogs, hence why she sniffed at those pitbulls the other day when she was close to them, but then resumed barking at them. Maybe she was making conversation...loudly? *sigh* One thing I know for sure, I am going to look back on this and laugh at the fact that she had me on the floor holding her with my stuff strewn all over the pavement. Oh, and the black pantsuit full of dog hair.

Wow! Cachis got diary of the day! Thank you so much! That is just awesome and Cachis is so happy and grateful. She says: "Woof! Woof!" I agree!

Vet time!

Cachis is currently in the capable hands of her vet, getting all her vacs... a month early. Turns out she was due for her physical in July when all this time I thought it was this month. Oh, well! This means a healthy puppy! I'm currently at work, and going to pick her up before they close. I pray to God she comes out with a clean bill of health. God only knows what those bugs she's been dining on do to her stomach. Eck! I guess I can't quite appreciate Insect Cuisine the way dogs can.

Spa Day!

Cachis had her spa day today at Petco! And...she had these cute little bows on! It was adorable!!! I have not taken any pictures yet, since I am yet to discover a trick to keep her still enough. No worries! I am on it!! She had her hair done, her nails trimmed, her teeth brushed, and she smells so nice. I had an incident when I was walking her to my car. She started barking at a couple of Pitbulls, and I was trying to get her inside the car and blocking her sight of the dogs. Then, she slipped off her collar! Aaaah! She went after these dogs and just started sniffing at them. Seriously!! I felt a lot like those poor celebrity bodyguards, trying to keep the crying and screaming fangirls from reaching their favorite idol. I feel your pain, brothers! I went back home in my all black pant suit, covered in dog hair. Story of my life.

Well, up next... a visit to the vet!! Hopefully, there won't be any handsome dogs out there for her to ambush and sniff. I'm not holding my breath, though. Oi vey.

Sad day.

My aunt just told me we were moving out this Wednesday. I have until then to find her a home. Or at least someone who will temporarily take her in until I find her a new family. *sigh* I thought I had more time, but as it is... Well, tomorrow, Cachis has an appointment to the doggie spa, then a vet's appointment on Tuesday. I hope, I pray, I can find a family then. Oh, please, please. *crosses fingers*

Cachis first paleta!

Wish I could take pictures of this, but as it is I can barely get her still enough to do that. Heh! It was lime flavored and only had bits of it. She looks at me after she's done like saying "Is that all? Boooo!" Hahaha! Can't have too much of a good thing Cachis!
