Big Dogs! stay...staaaay.....stay away!
Mommy's barking slipper. Whoever thought of giving her puppy slippers instead of bunny slippers was a GENIUS!
Anything from the Freshpet Selection foods. Sooo good. Oh! An peanut butter! Love peanut butter!
Cachis was brought home when she was only 6 weeks old. This adorable furball stole my heart the moment I saw her, I never wanted to let her go. My aunt got her for her 6year old son who thought she was cute...at a distance. He never took to her, and my aunt was thinking of leaving her at a shelter when I told her I'd take care of her. Phew! I've had a wonderful year with her, made lots of memories, but as with all good things, they all eventually end. I am moving in for the first time into my own apartment, and as I've looked into my finances, it seems that I am financially incapable to keep up with all she would need. I am also in school and work far from home, so my schedule gets really hectic and I don't get to spend much time with her. I've come to the conclusion that she does need better than that, so that is why I've come to the decision to give her up. It's not something that was easy for me to decide because I really love her and want to keep her forever, but I can't give her what she needs. :( I am in fact, an inadequate mommy. *sigh* I pray to God that the family who ends up getting her loves her so much, and give her all she deserves.
When she was just a few months old, my neighbors' dogs kept harrassing her by sneaking into our backyard, and at one point, one of them had their jaws on her neck. I wasn't there, but my aunt who saw it happen, ended up chasing these dog away but always came back. Once I talked to the neighbors it stopped, but ever since then Cachis has always been anxious around bigger dogs then her. Small ones are ok, they make good playmates, apparently! She'll bark at the big dogs but will not attack them.

I was about to joyfully announce that Cachis found a family to take her in, until said family texted me and said they couldn't take her in after all. :( Now, Cachis is still without a place to go. Here goes the search for a new home, again. Please pray for Cachis!

I almost forgot! I meant to tell you guys that Cachis' yearly physical was a success! I'm sure the vacs were not fun to take, but my girl's a champ. Now she can say that she's a healthy pup with all her vacs updated! =D Healthy puppy makes for a happy puppy! She also met other dogs like her, bigger than her but I think she scared them more than they scared her. LOL. She kept barking at them boisterously and tried to approach them but they moved away. Ha! I can actually say that her bark is worse than her bite, for sure. ;) As her owner, I have come to understand that she's distrustful of big dogs, hence why she sniffed at those pitbulls the other day when she was close to them, but then resumed barking at them. Maybe she was making conversation...loudly? *sigh* One thing I know for sure, I am going to look back on this and laugh at the fact that she had me on the floor holding her with my stuff strewn all over the pavement. Oh, and the black pantsuit full of dog hair.
