Arrival Story:
Cito came to me when he was 2 years old, he was imported from Germany. My department decided to acquire a police dog after a series of unsolved rapes in the community. I immediately volunteered and was chosen to become the first K-9 officer in the cities history. Cito and I began work in 1985 and Cito was credited for many apprehensions and also was a favorite of the community through demonstrations at schools and various functions.

After many years of service to the community Cito retired and continued to live with me and he enjoyed many years of playful bliss. Cito contracted a spinal disease and had to be put down at 11 years old. But he is still with me today in his urn.
