(she will go look out the window) Arrival Story: I researched Akitas for about a month before finally deciding to get one, so I found a breeder in our area and it so happend that Maya's mother was just bred a couple of days before I contacted the breeder. We waited, it seemed an eternity, until we finally got to bring her home. She had 3 beautiful siblings (1 sister and 2 brothers). She was very unsure of things when we first brought her home, but she became the bouncy-est little thing when her personality started to show.
