Sandi was about 8wks when we rescued her from a garage in Antioch CA Aug 1996, given as a gift to the family children without parental consent, banned from house after she had 2 accidents on white carpet. Hot stuffy garage in August, a fellow volunteer on Crisis Line told me about her plight. Immediately asked husband, Steve if we could go get her...within 2 days she was on my lap on the way to our home...she was the 5th member of our canine family. She is now 15 and the last member of that group still with us
