Arrival Story: Knowing we were looking for a Boston Terrier, our local Humane Society called us to see if we were interested in a little female whose owner is now a senior citizen who can no longer care for pets in her home. Of course, we went right over to see her and adopted the newest member of our Family. Welcome to your Forever Home, Petunia Lemon Brossart!!! Petunia, who was raised by a Hispanic Famlyu here in Central Florida, is Bi-Lingual! She loves listening to the Hispanic TV stations here and comes runiong when we make Enchiladas for dinner! After three days of thinking we were going to have “Miss Piggy” (from Petfinder) as ours, the vets office who has had her at their office living in a cage for the past year decided that my being in a wheelchair was not, in their words, "a good match". So we lost our original Petunia and will forever wonder what sort of ridiculous logic they thought made sense about dogs and handicapped owners. We hope and pray for all the best for Miss Piggy, and our Petunia is really happy it worked out this way ... and so are we!!!
