Bob has been putting the “finishing touches” on his latest song. I guess he couldn’t sleep last night thinking about it. (It didn’t keep me awake, of course.) Bob writes traditional, easy-listening stuff, what Tony calls “white people’s music.” Tony and I prefer Afro-Caribbean music—something we can shake our tails to.

Bob realized something about me this week. I used to run to the door every time I saw or heard him going out, but now I’m more discriminating. If he goes out with a basket, I know he’s just going to the laundry room and will be right back, so I just stay where I am. On the other hand, if he puts on his cap, then I know he’s going away in the car, and I loooooooooove riding in the car, so I often get to the door before he does.

Maybe you Dad can make a song sometime that has all of those aspects in it. That would be fun, my mom and dad are white people and they love reagae, both upbeat and the easy stuff. Some of it is very relaxing while others want to make you dance. Mom likes the dancing stuff for cleaning house.

It is so fun when our owners figure out that we are smarter then they think.
