Pet-Peeves: Dogs who won't play with him! Favorite Toy: His foster brother Tripp Arrival Story: Levon is such a strikingly handsome dog, they named him “Rainbow” when he was brought to the shelter! The truth is he will be his forever family’s “pot of gold” at the end of the rainbow!
Levon is about a year old and weighs 25 lbs. Our best guess is he’s an Australian Cattle Dog mixed with Boston Terrier, the latter being responsible for his unusually cute face and adorable underbite. He is an active, happy, playful dog with a very friendly and loving personality.
Levon enjoys cuddling with his foster mom and dad almost as much as playing with the 3 other dogs in his foster home. He runs along with them, enjoys tug of war and chasing them. He has just gotten he hand of fetching for himself and will bring it almost all the way back to be tossed again. Bio: We think Levon would be happiest in a home with another playful dog or young children who will play with him frequently. He loves to explore in our yard so a fenced yard would be a plus but not necessary if he will get frequent walks or, even better, hikes. He isn’t great on a leash yet but we think he could learn quickly.
Levon isn’t the kind of dog who could be alone 8 hours a day. He is too young and active. He is fine in a crate for a few hours at a time and he sleeps in a crate at night. Levon is neutered and up to date on all shots and preventatives.
If you’re looking for an active dog by day and cuddly dog by night, consider meeting Levon! Forums Motto: Until there are none ... rescue one! I've Been On Dogster Since:
