Nicknames: Austin Boxer Rescue Arrival Story: Elsa is a cuddly and sweet Boxer with lots of love to give. She gets along well with children and adults, however, she barks at other dogs [not all dogs]. Since she was injured [car accident], she is being living at my veterinary’s clinic. She had surgery to repair a fracture pelvic, she was also spayed. Since she is HW+, she started her treatment two weeks ago.
She pays attention when she is called and wants to play. She's slowly recovering from the surgery so she cannot put much weight on the (rear right] leg. But she has a healthy appetite and loves to be love. Currently she is on a low fat diet to prevent from gaining too much weight while she is undergoing her HW treatment.
She is been spoiled by the clinic staff and everyone seems to be taken by her loving demeanor. If you sit on the floor next to her she places her head on your lap for you to pet her. She just needs a lot of love and LTC until she can get back on her four feet again. She walks [limps] on a leash and she never soiled her crate.
Hanna is the senior medical technician at the Converse Animal Hospital if you have additional questions regarding Elsa.
