Arrival Story:
Karmen (the dog formerly known as Katy Perry) came into the shelter in the fall of 2011 as a stray. By Christmas time she was beginning to suffer from kennel stress, so she came to live with us as a foster. After almost six months with us, it was pretty apparent that she wasn't going anywhere!
Bio:
Karmen (the dog formerly known as Katy Perry) is a smart dog and very eager to please! She is house trained, crate trained, knows basic commands (sit, down, wait), and best of all--she's great with kids. Her only fault? She snores, loudly. She's spayed, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on her shots. Don't let her ears fool you into thinking she's scary or mean; Katy is a big, goofy lover! Katy Perry is also the perfect size--about 55 lbs.
