Arrival Story:
Bear was found as a stray and taken in by the people that found him. He was kept outside and became infected with heartworm. The people that had him took him to the humane society thinking he was old and sick, but he was just young and needed some help! I saw him on PetFinder.com as a special needs dog. I visited with him several times a week for 2 1/2 months before he was healthy and ready to come home with me. He's such an amazing dog - he had to have had a great family before he somehow got loose because he is very well behaved and just wants to be loved.
