Arrival Story:
Roxy was 6 weeks old (they estimate her DOB to be October, 2011) when she was found walking down a street in Louisville. She was malnourished, her ribs were showing and her front legs were bowed due to the malnutrition. She was picked up by Louisville Metro Animal Service and Saving Sunny Pitbull Rescue received her. She was fostered out, but was only there for a couple days when we met her. We took her home that very day. We fostered her until she could be spayed, then we could officially adopt her. She gained weight quickly and her legs straightened out. Now she's a big, happy, quickly growing girl! :)
