Arrival Story:
My 14 year old Catahoula/Lab mix Miyah passed away August of 2011. Of course I was heart broken. Miyah was my constant companion of 14 years. She went to work with me everyday. Once Miyah passed, I waited for about 3 months before I started searching for my next best friend. Finally I found an ad for Siberian Husky pups. I went to see the pups. Lyla was the smallest of the litter, she was the only one with two blue eyes and I really loved her odd coloring. Needless to say she captured my heart that day. My wife wanted one of the males which looked more like the standard husky, but I knew Lyla was the one for me. It was love at first sight. She now goes to work with me everyday and loves to pull me around the neighborhood on my recumbent trike. She is amazingly strong for 33 lbs. Of course now my wife is very glad I picked Lyla.
