Gotcha Date: March 20th 2012 Birthday: October 11th 2010 Likes: Playing with her sister Maggie Mae and our newest foster Dog. Pet-Peeves: Strangers, but warms up quickly. Favorite Toy: Maggie Mae's ears. Favorite Food: she likes all food since she hadn't had any in so long. Favorite Walk: down our trail. Best Tricks: Sit, Wait, Down Arrival Story: Susie is Maggie's sister. The owner came to my friend (the breeder) and asked her to take Susie back due to an eviction. Kristin (the breeder) went to look at her and called me right away. She was skin and bones, had a broken tail and a bruise on her ribs. Bio: She's been with us about 3 weeks now and has learned sit, wait, down. She has trouble with adult strangers but gets along well with all dogs, cats and children. When around an adult stranger she barks and cowers. Though it sounds menacing, there is absolutely no "bite" in this dog. So yesterday my foster mom picked me up from my trial week early with my new family because she didn't think they were doing right by me. She got a call saying that I had gotten out. When she got there to look for me, I came right to her to show her all my itchies. I was covered with ticks! Thank God I have already had my Lyme's vaccine. That was only after one night. So when she started asking questions, she found out that I stayed outside all by myself all night long and wasn't allowed in the house at all. This is not what the people had told her was going to happen with me. They also didn't feed me the way my foster mom says I should have been fed. Needless to say my foster mom is now looking for my forever home again. I'm a good girl and she wants to give me a home with the respect that I deserve as a good dog.
My belly is full, it's time to go to sleep with the little girl human. I think she cuddles the best.
Today was a boring day, the family left me in the kitchen and Dog and Maggie got to stay in the cage together. I usually stay with Maggie in the cage :( She said it has something to do with him no being "fixed" and I'm not either whatever that means. They went someplace called the zoo and came back smelling very interesting, I couldn't match scene to scent at all. Usually she comes back smelling like a different dog.
When they came back I was sooooo happy and played with my rope. Daddy took a video of it. Then they rubbed all their things with smell good stuff.
Later on, a family came to visit me. I barked at them of course but it didn't last long at all, I knew my foster mom was proud. She was very happy that I was kissing the children and made friends with the mom. She says tomorrow I'm going to their house to take a walk with their dog. It's a Yorkie whatever that means ... when will these people learn, to me a dog is a dog is a dog, and I love them all. Hopefully she will love me like Maggie does. If they take me I will really miss her.
The human put us in the big metal thing which I'm really starting to like and we went for a drive. At first I was really scared but now I'm the first one in and I get into it by myself, she had to pick me up and put me in the first time and I was really scared. We stopped at a house and Maggie was allowed out but Dog and I had to stay in the car. I found out later that we had to babysit Tiny (my dad) while his humans were somewhere called Disney World. Anyway, we watched Maggie and Tiny play but we didn't stay long, Maggie came back and we went for another drive but it didn't seem like we were going the right way back to the house.
We finally stopped and when we looked around all I could see were big houses and lots of cars (which I think is what the metal things are called). The human got Maggie and Dog out of the car with the littlest human, but I had to stay. I was really sad at first but I soon saw them all coming back and the human got me out this time!!!
What a world I was brought to! So many things to smell and see! This place must have been heaven! There were toys and treats and clothes and other dogs!!! I've never seen anything like it! The human got us 2 new rope toys and some treats. We also got some bones. Dog didn't like sharing his bone like Maggie and I do.
Later on we had another car ride but it was only that a car ride. This place keeps me on my toes. I never know what's going to happen next.
