She loves her "human", she is truly the definition of "man's best friend". Aside from this she loves cuddling, and going on car rides or chasing squirrels in the back yard.

She get nervous around new dogs and barks at them or might pull on a leash while she barks (NEVER aggressive though), but once she is introduced to dogs she's fine - she's lived with 2 small dogs for years. She doesn't like her hip to be touched or pulled

Favorite Toy:
She like balls, stuffed animals. Loves bones and flavored chew toys. And loves relaxing on a comfy cushion or bed

Favorite Food:

Favorite Walk:
She loves walks.

Arrival Story:
Olivia was a shelter dog. She was brought in because back yard breeders were shut down and she was rescued from that. However due to her dark fir many people never got the chance to meet this loving, caring, kind and gentle german shepherd. She had what the pound called "black dog syndrome", where people are afraid of the dog simply because of how they look. Little did they know Olivia is the kindest most gentle dog I've every come across. She loves peoples, of all ages. She is a people dog. Some of her favorite things are playing with people, car rides, cuddling on the couch or in bed and being with her owner. She is the sweetest dog ever. Her only down fall is she gets very nervous around new dogs and will bark to inform you of them, but once she knows them they become great friends. I am having to move because of school and can no longer keep her. I am looking for a loving forever home for her. If you are interested in adopting her please contact me. Thanks.

Forums Motto:
Olivia- Your New Best Friend

Hello, I am looking for a loving (forever) home for Olivia, my german Sherpherd. I am having to move to an apartment due to school and can no longer keep her. She is 4 year old loving female shepherd. Olivia has a wonderful energy about her, she loves all humans (young and old), she is very gentle with her person and becomes very attached. She loves to cuddle on the couch and go on car rides. She'll play with you, fetch things and keep you laughing. She's an amazing dog. She is completely apartment and house broken, she is potty trained and neutered. Her shots are up to date as well. Her only down falls are that she barks (or if you're on a walk might pull) at dogs she is unfamiliar with. She is not aggressive just barks at them to let them and you know she sees them. She has lived with other dogs and got along great with them. So she doesn't dislike other dogs, she is just very shy and cautious around dogs she doesn't know. Once she knows them they'll be great friends. I am having to move May 1st and would love to find her a home that will love and take care of her. She is a great companion for a single person or family. She loves kids too. Please let me know if you are interested. There is no fee to rehome her, I just want to find a home that is perfect for her. Thank you, Sean P.S. I would prefer that you be able to get her rather than her fly. I don't like the send dogs on planes as if can be very traumatic for the animal. I reside in the Southern CA area.
