Macies Expecting

Sad News

Sorry its taken so long to update but its been a ruff month. Macie went into labor end of June not sure the exact day off hand. She was in labor for over 12 hours with no puppy and the vet kept telling me everything is ok....well it wasnt. The pup got stuck in the birth canal and I had to pull him out, he came out dead :(. I tried my darndest to bring him around but it was just to late. He was so cute all black and a little boy. He was a big puppy though. Macie came around to the fact she didnt have a puppy quickly but me (her mommy) not so much. That was horrible for me since I wanted that pup so badly. Its been a little over a month since then and were both back into our routines and macie continues to be a working service dog and my best friend for me. We did get her a new friend. A Mini Doxie puppy name Miley. Well its 1:11 AM and im sleepy. Good night all.

Due in one week

So Macie is due in one week. WOW its gone by so slow, we can not wait for our little peanut to be born. Doc has said since shes only having one that she may not produce enough hormones to go into labor or the puppy could be to big to push out and she would need a c section. Please all of Macies friend pray she has a safe natural delivery with a healthy puppy but if not were ready for anything. We can feel the little one kicking if we put our hand on her belly so precious. Macie is starting to eat a little less and you can tell shes uncomfortable and ready to have this little one. Doc says check her temp twice a day cause she can go into labor anytime now. Will write again when shes had him and will post pictures too.

Macies having a puppy

Macie is 6 weeks pregnant with one puppy confirmed by ultrasound. Mom and pup are both doing well and healthy. Shes due around June 24th. We all cant wait for our little peanut to arrive.
