Tennis Ball and/or stuffed dolphin
Sit (although she rarley ever obeys)
My brother, Ethan, my mom, and I went to the Fremont County Humane Society. We went planning not to get a dog but, as you know, we did. FIrst, we looked at the cats and kittens. Then went into the puppy room. When we reached the kennel we looked at every single dog cage. Most were empty (which could be a good or bad thing). When we came to the exit I saw this little female puppy sitting there, hopeless. I pleaded my mom to let us take her into the "Interaction Rooms". Eventually she said yes. When she was in there she did nothing but lay down. Then an employee of the Humane Society told us some useful information. "This dog has had four homes already and was dropped off only 30 minutes ago." Then she left. Ethan and I looked at each other. Then I had that feeling that said "This dog is meant for us." We went home and Ethan and I did our chores. We knew that the decision to get this dog was up to our dad. We picked up dog scat in the rain before he got home. Our mom told him what we did and said why. My dad thought about it for awhile. THen answered to us. "Yes, you can get the dog."
The next day we went to the shelter and found the poor puppy and, after about and hour and a half, adopted her.
Snowball has had four homes before us.
