Today during training, I finally responded to the "down" cue without being lured into position! YAY!!! Mom was so happy with me! I got a big jackpot & lots of verbal praise. I also started anticipating the down cue hee hee. We also worked on a short sit stay & I'm getting really good at "turn around". It's a good thing I have Sita as an example of what to do.
Mom thinks I might be alerting or at least responding to her anxiety. Since I'm still small I can fit on the arm rest between the front seats. I've started sitting there when Mom stops at lights & will lean my body into Mom's arm. Mom gets anxious driving. Not so bad that she can't drive, just so that she gets really uptight. I also lick Mom's head when she has a headache. Mom doesn't know if that's because she has the headache or her head just tastes good to me lol. She's had a headache for almost a week straight, so it's hard for her to tell.
