She weighs 24 pounds and has the softest brown coat with some black and white on her sweet face. Dolly was rescued from Cleveland Animal Control. Her family surrendered her because they did not have time for her. Their loss, because they clearly did not know what a treasure they had. Dolly is very intelligent, extremely gentle, and recovering from a broken heart. Upon arriving at PPC, she was terrified and still has no idea why her family abandoned her. She trusts us a little more each day and her personality is beginning to shine. She gets very excited when it is time to be fed.
Because Dolly is very smart and food motivated, she will learn basic commands easily. She is housebroken in our overnight kennels and walks on a lead without pulling. Once Dolly bonds with someone, she will be the best companion possible. She desperately needs a person to love and trust who will help her to know she never has to question the security of her home.
