Arrival Story:
Dreya is a rescue from Stray Rescue St. Louis. After talking to my husband about getting a dog in about 3 months I found this lovely girl the next day. She came from a neglected, abusive environment and was rescued by this wonderful organization. After adopting her in late August she has made herself at home with two great cat buddies.

Dreya has only been with us a short time so we are slowly seeing her personality and traits coming out. She has never really been vocal until last Saturday. I was in the kitchen and she was in the living room making the weirdest noises. I am used to dogs barking, however, her "bark" is a "ruff, ruff" and the a yodel. It was the coolest sound ever. After looking up dogs with this unique vocalization we realized she is part Basenji based on her physical features and noises.
