I love being outside. I love being with mom. I used to love swimming, but since surgery, my shoulder hurts and I don't trust it. I still love water.
I used to have many!! Since surgery, not so much. I really dislike little dogs!! Don't trust biguns, but little ones are the worst!! Little dog, big attitude!
I love balls, and sticks. Just love sticks...love chasing stones mom throws in river. I know sounds dumb...but it sure is fun!
I love it all!! Not picky!! Really love onions, but my dr said they weren't good for me...mom believed her!! I don't get them anymore. I LOOOOOOOVE green peppers. and salad.
I love to be at the river. Love it. I love camping also, by water.
I play fetch with myself. Who needs someone to throw the ball when you can throw and chase it all by yourself!
Taya Angeli was the beginning of my new story after my Angel was shot to death when we were out on a run. Tay, is the niece of Harmony Faith. Her mom, a black phase timber wolf, named Baby...and her dad, brother to Harmony Faith, finally had a litter of more than 1 male pup. Taya Angeli came home at 21 days old. She is an utter imp!!!! I love her with all my heart.
She almost died in my arms one year ago, in March. She had a diseased uterus, pyometra, SPAY your females.

Oh, gosh..I remember being taken to a strange place with one of my sisters. We came in and were handed to my mom. My sister squirmed around, but I knew my mom's smell immediately. My sister moved away, I rooted my way down the sleeve of mom's coat...and rested there. I've grown into a "beautiful girl". I do lots by myself. If I am hungry, I will get food for us. Mom keeps it in a bucket with an airtight lid, but I just work it until the lid comes off, and VIOLA!!! We eat. If she moves chair from in front of refrigerator, I simply open the door and choose the morsels I want. I also "shop" in the pantry. If it looks good, I will get it. Frustrates mom, but oh how she laughs. Then she says "You are too smart!" and "Fair game". I read her books (she didn't like that), took pictures with her camera (she hated that one), take out the garbage (which makes her laugh), and assorted other things that keep her guessing! That's my job! Keep her guessing. We love each other tons!!

So mom, the cool guy, and Tiny went on a big huge walk. At first I was nervous, but pretty soon...I was enjoying all the new things. We got to a store and the cool guy tied Tiny up to go into store. Mom said she would wait with me until he was done. A truck had dogs in the back and they started being nasty to me. Saying insults out the window. I jumped and started telling them what I thought of them too. I got kind of frightened. Mom made me sit. Then I saw that Tiny was just standing there all calm...just ignoring their banter. I decided "what the heck" if he can do it, I can do it. Pretty soon, all their insults didn't matter. WE were the ones on a walk. WE were the ones getting treats. Mom made sure those dogs saw me getting treats for being still. Pretty soon, dogs in fences, dogs in cars didn't bother me. Some people did though. Tiny would growl, and he's my friend, that meant I had to back his play. Mom said "NO!" and made me lay down. WE all had a great time.
I don't know how long we were gone. Mom said "2 hours, you good girl" however long 2 hours is...it was a good time.
Mom didn't wanna go home, and now the guy we live with is yelling because he hates the cool guy. (they had some problems awhile ago) I hope mom doesn't quit being friends with him because this guy doesn't like him. I don't even like this guy that much.

My new friend, Tiny, and his very cool friend, Dennis, came to my house. Mom put the boys outside, and though we didn't get to sniff around outside much. Mom did say Tiny could come in and visit.
Before Tiny and I went inside, The Cool Guy (my name for him) stood outside our fence and we...all six of us...sang songs. That made me feel so good for the boys, cause they were included. Mom, and The Cool Guy, sang along also.
We went inside, I shared my water with my new friend. He was kinda edgy because the boys were knockin' on the back door a lot. We lazed around. I showed him my room. He really liked my blanket, that was hard for me to share. I kinda did though. Mostly I distracted him so he wouldn't wanna lay there.
My day is a great one.
Mom said she's off for three days....I guess we'll be hanging out with my friend, and his Very Cool Guy...should be fun.

I would have written sooner...don't worry, mom's not starving me...and I get to run...but getting her to tell ya what I have to say....well me oh my! What a chore! *Sigh*
My life right now is so sweet. I have never been the most social 4 legged. I was always high strung. I learned to fight with my brother when he came home and though mom worked hard...I couldn't stop fighting.
Finally I got really ill, then I had to go to sleep. When I woke up, mom was right there, and my tummy really hurt, but I felt better than I had.
A set aside here, I always wanted to make friends, but somehow every single time I tried, something bad happened or I got angry...and SNAP! I felt awful later. Mom kinda gave up hope.
A year ago after my sleeping time, I got really well. And I noticed I wasn't so angry anymore. Mom was still really cautious. But I so wanted her to know I was trusting her to teach me. I wasn't angry any more, cause I didn't hurt so much every so often.
Mom showed me how to just walk away when my brother was being rotten. Just walk away. Then I saw mom get really angry with Koda and make him "YOU GO LAY DOWN RIGHT NOW" and when he wouldn't (and in the beginning I doubted he would...he can be sooo bossy! I watched) MOM MADE HIM!! I got so comfortable not fighting my bro and I began playing again.
But I still had no "outside" friends. This really cool guy came into our lives for awhile last year. He would howl with us from the waterway by our house. Then he came into the house, we knew him right away. I think Mom has known him a long time, we just never got the memo...anyway...after a year of NO FIGHTING....I have my dream...MY FIRST OUTSIDE FRIEND!!
I spent the last two days with my friend. Yesterday Mom, and Dennis took my new friend and I for long walks. Tiny,is his name. We walked on leashes up and down the street...swear I thought mom was gunna cry.
At first dogs in fences scared me, Tiny just showed me to walk on and ignore their rude comments...today...MOM TOOK ME OFF LEAD. TINY AND I PLAYED IN THE RIVER...WE SNIFFED POOP, WE SNIFFED POLES, WE SNIFFED AND WE SNIFFED AND WE SNIFFED. Oh sure...sometimes they called us back...but together we sniffed for miles. I have my first OUTSIDE FRIEND...AND MOM SAID "TAYA...YOU ARE NOW THE DOG I TRUST!!" ME!! What a dream come true....still think mom's gunna cry before it's over.
