Arrival Story:
After we lost Sadie in November, Levi and I talked about getting a new puppy. We didn't really go looking, but figured when it was time, it would just happen. By chance, browsing the general category on our local Craigslist, I found some Pug pups, but the ad was a week old, so I didn't call. The next morning, the ad was reposted at the very top of the list, so I made the call and we went to see the pups. I wasn't sure about having a male, but this little guy (and I say little... he was the biggest of the pups in his litter!) won my heart over. We brought him home at 6 weeks and he has been an amazing addition to our family. When Thor was about 10 months old, we noticed he was having trouble with his left hip. After a visit to our vet, it was decided that Thor would undergo a Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO). Thor came through surgery with flying colors, and although he wasn't keen on the therapy that came with it, he's doing amazing!
