Bored in the yard 5.20.13

Well, it's going on 4 weeks now and Kira still can't play with me. I make her so frustrated while she's in her crate - and I'm outside and free. Mom and Dad take me for hikes and long walks, but I still miss my Kira very much. She's like my mom and I love her! I don't understand why she's so grumpy with me.

Maybe if I'm really quiet I can nap outside her crate. She likes that, when I'm next to her. Only 4 more weeks till Kira can take walks again - after she gets her second set of x-rays. Paws crossed, she'll be ok again.

Zack's Second Birthday - 4/1/13

Hi Everybody,

Thanks so much for all your special birthday wishes! What a nice surprise! My mouth watered as I patiently waited for the annual Birthday Chicken to arrive. Mom sang then helped me blow out the candles. And Kira, Magic Man and I enjoyed a bit of tasty roast chicken. Delicious!

I also got some special toys, a run in the park and a bath. Dad says I have now grown from an obnoxious one-year-old to a terrible two-year-old German Shepherd. I still love my belly rubs and Mom calls me "Zack-o-licious". I'm a very happy guy.
