Bio:
Angel is for adoption. She's about four years old, gets along well with all other animals and is as sweet as can be. Life wasn't kind to her, she used to be a breeder, against her will, in a puppy mill. Due to her very traumatic beginning in life, she is very shy. With time, patience and work, she WILL come to trust and warm up to people, just as she's come to trust and warmed up to me. She NEEDS a home where someone can spend a lot of time with her. So if you're retired, work from home or can bring her to work with you, this would work. She NEEDS another dog in the home. This is very important because Angel with draw comfort from another dog and will learn from your dog. She CANNOT be in a home with children. She has NO aggression but she is very shy and children would stress her. She NEEDS a calm home. If you're not patient, Angel is NOT the dog for you. She is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations and has seen the veterinarian recently. Adoption requires meeting Angel in her foster home first, filling out an application, having a home visit, signing a contract, and a small adoption fee of $100 that will go towards covering rescue costs. If you're interested in adopting Angel, PLEASE read up on puppy mill dogs before contacting me to see if you're up to this kind of dog. If what you read tells you that a puppy mill dog needs a crate or that it needs to be dominated and you need to be an "alpha dog" or that you're validating their fears if you comfort them, then what you are reading is NOT a good source of information. Training is offered free with adoption. It will help get Angel established into her new home and make her adoption more successful.
