Arrival Story:
I saw Beau on a rescue site when I was traveling in Kansas. He is everything a great Rattie should be. He is fast, fast, fast and loves his people including older children. The down side is that he is not very good around cats. I am working with him to learn how to live in peace with the felines. He's GREAT with other dogs and works hard to please. Beau needs a warm climate without snow...he hates the white stuff!
Bio:
Beau Chien is a 21 pound 20" tall, intelligent, people-loving 2 year old Rat Terrier with a lot of energy for super fast chasing, rolling in the grass and general goofiness at the park or the yard yet he is generally quiet at home. He is shy at first but warms up quickly. Beau's even tempered, good with other dogs male or female and older children (8 years & up) but not with cats or tiny dogs. Beau is house broken, crate trained and knows how to use a doggy door as well as wee wee pads. He's learning sit, down, stay and is a quick learner. Beau is incredibly sweet and smart, and he is eager to make someone an amazing companion for life. Oh I forgot to say that he loves sitting near me or on my lap.
