Arrival Story:
Long story! Cocoa belonged to a neighbor most of her life. The person ended up having to be gone for a few months and no one was looking after her. She ended up at our house. She lived with us, freely to come and go as she pleased. After about two years, I woke up and there were seven males in my yard competing for her to breed. She had actually fought with them and got messed up pretty bad. I got her to the vet and finally convinced the neighbor to spay her and let her live with me where she would be safe and off the roads. He agreed. She has "officially" been ours for about two years now and has no desire to leave the fenced in yard. She is, after all this time, safe and secure now. We love her dearly!
