Arrival Story:
I had my heart set on getting the biggest MALE great dane I could find. I even had the name already picked out - Max. The breeder showed me which of the pups were boys, so I only looked at them. I fell in love at first sight. The pup was my Christmas present to myself and I couldn't have been happier. About a week later, Max was laying down wanting a tummy rub and my mother looked over and said - "you do realize Max isn't a boy". Needless to say, it had been many years since I owned a dog. Since the breeder had said the pup was male, I never questioned it...So, Max became Maxi. She's still the love of my life and I wouldn't change a thing about her!
Bio:
She's a cupcake - giant lap dog. Her best friend is her little cat-sister, Ruby Tuesday. When she's not chasing Tuesday they love to groom eachother.

My favorite time of year is summer and my favorite summer activity is my Sunday walk in the park! My mom takes me to Los Gatos Creek Trail where we meet up with a bunch of my friends (and their mom's). We get to go on a walk and play in the creek. I know it's not common for my breed to like the water, but what can I say? I'm unique ;-) I love to splash around and chase the other dogs.
Once we're all tired out we go over to Downtown Los Gatos and sit in the park. People there are so nice and are always wanting to come up and say hi. All us dogs visit with people while the moms go through the Farmers Market. Then me and my friends sit quietly while my mom and her friends eat lunch at Willow Street Pizza. The waiters and waitresses are so nice there, they make sure we get a table in the shade and bring us a nice bowl of cold water. If we're really good we usually manage to get a few bites of food from the moms.
Once we get home I immediately crash on the couch with my baby kitty, Ruby Tuesday, and dream about my next big adventure!
