Maybe he was picked on by humans or other dogs where he first grew up. He backed away from people if approached. We have since worked with him and now he loves attention any chance he gets! Growin' Up feels good! It means so much more adventure. All the things I used to be nervous about don't bother me like they used to. The leash used to scare me when it pulled. But now I can barely feel it cause I'm too busy smelling the scents of other dogs & prancing along the sidewalk like the proud boy I am. That reminds me.... Mommy says I will start getting a walk every morning as long as Grammy agrees to keep my girls Luna, Jenna, & Miss Balto quiet so that they don't wake the neighbors. Cause if I leave their sight they start going crazy. They must really love me :)
Her name is Layla. She is a 4 year old Gray&White husky with bright blue eyes. She came over and played in the backyard with me for an hour. My mommy says she put a handsome picture of me up on a website and a bunch of girls saw it and wanted to meet me! But she picked Layla out of them all because she is so pretty. She is smart and mature too. She walked up to me and rubbed her head against my neck for a doggy-hug. I didn't know what she was doing at first so I got a little bit growly. But after a while I got more used to her behavior and understood her body language. Mommy says I will get to see her a few more times this week. I can't wait! If we are good dogs and stay friends then someday Layla and I will get to be doggy parents :)
