Arrival Story:
(From his BadRap.org Happy Ending) Bullet is a Miracle Dog. He was shot in the head and lived to tell the tale. A police officer spotted him out walking himself, did the correct thing and phoned Animal Control to come collect him, then followed him on his motorcycle to keep track of his location. Just as AC was pulling up to take the dog, the officer pulled out his gun and shot him. In the head. Why? Who knows. The AC officer gathered up his bleeding body and rushed him to an animal hospital where a determined vet worked for five hours to save his life. The vet told us, "There's no way this dog should still be alive." The bullet entered his face just below his left eye, blasted through his sinuses, and broke some back molars as it exited his hard palette. In true pit bull fashion, he spit the bullet out of his mouth! As he recovered, vet staff and Animal Control personnel noted his fabulous disposition and gentle spirit. Many people wanted to see this dog survive. Once we met him, we understood why.

Bio:
Bullet is happy and healthy aside from recurrent sinus infections due to the damage caused by the gunshot. Some of his teeth were broken and are now rotten, so they will have to be removed this month. He's such an amazing soul. Always loving and not a mean bone in his body, even after all that. I feel like the luckiest person in the world to have him in my life.
