Gotcha Date:

Sleeping, going to day care, treats, cuddling and being chased by other dogs. And chewing any toy she can get her teeth on. She's a power chewer.

Eating breakfast (she'd rather go back to sleep), baths, dogs that won't chase her, pooping on command and stealing pillows, remotes etc.

Favorite Toy:
Skineez squirrels, rawhide/bully sticks (only made in the USA) and her new puzzle that she easily figured out because she's so smart.

Favorite Food:
Wellness Super Mix, Wellness canned turkey, Blue Buffalo jerky and Old Mother Hubbard treats (only made in the USA). Callie isn't the best eater. Loves her treats. But some mornings it takes a couple of hours for her to finish her breakfast.

Favorite Walk:
Her backyard. Operative word being HER. She patrols her backyard. Chasing bunnies and birds out.

Best Tricks:
Sit, down, leave it, speak and paw

Arrival Story:
After the loss of my cat, I couldn't bear the thought of replacing him and decided to get a GSP along with my friend who already had one whom I adored. So together we got female litter mates. Callie (Calliope) and Charlie (Charlotte). I knew Callie was the one as soon as I saw her picture from the breeder. She was the littlest of the litter. The pink NY Yankee collar we got didn't fit for a few months. We had to get her a kitten collar for her skinny little neck until she grew into her dog collar. We also had to quickly get her a little ski jacket since it was winter in NY and she shivered in the cold. Callie has been a great deal of work but her unconditional love more than makes up for it. She was a challenge in the beginning and required alot of patience and training but now that she's in daycare Mon thru Fri she has found a great outlet for her boundless energy. She's very smart and quick to learn new tricks. She has no real interest in our 17 year old cat who tolerates Callie's presence. She also has the sweetest face and we love her to bits.
