Well I'm 19 years old & live by myself. I've always been in love with dachshunds & wanted to get a dog because I was lonely. My mother told me I couldn't get one & I continued to tell her how lonely I was so went behind her back.. not that nice. Haha. I made ads on craigs list & went on petfinder. I was telling one of my friends how one of the people from craigs list that contacted me about buying his dog wasn't responding then she told me how her family friend had new born dachshunds for $75 so I drove the next day & got him! I told my mother also, & she loves him.
