Arrival Story:
We adopted Weylyn from Border Collie Rescue in Johannesburg in January 2012. He needed a special home because of his difficult background. Weylyn is a super special dog, he is a survivor, he lives in the present and despite all he's been through he is still able to open his heart and trust
Bio:
Weylyn was found in a township in Port Elizabeth tied out by a tether so short he was unable to lie down. He was hit and had bricks thrown at him. He was rescued by an animal welfare group in Port Elizabeth and from there to the Border Collie Rescue kennels in Johannesburg. After nipping a few people due to fear they decided he needed a 'special' home where he could be helped to trust again and so he came to us. Its not all been easy but I'm happy to say he hasn't nipped anyone since coming home, he's a very lovable and loving boy.
