Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
 Gotcha Date: January 29th 2012
 Birthday: October 18th 2005
Likes: Being by people and licking them.

Pet-Peeves: When Bruno is getting attention.

Favorite Toy: It was a shoe, the only toy that she came to us with, but she seems to be taking a shine to Bruno's quacking duck and this little dinosaur toy I bought her that has the most wretchedly annoying squeak.

Favorite Food: She doesn't seem picky.

Favorite Walk: Through the Capitol plazas to visit her Paw.

Best Tricks: We're working on those, she didn't know any upon coming to us, but she seems to be learning sit. Her favorite, self-taught trick is breaking down the gate when I try to lock her in the kitchen.

Arrival Story: My Mom called on the evening of January 28th, 2012 and asked me if my husband and I wanted to adopt a Boston Terrier. I said no, that we were still trying to get over the death of Lily. Then she goes on to tell me that Pita's owner had to go into assisted living and would not be able to take her, and that no one, not even the shelter, would take Pita because she wasn't housebroken. Mom said that they were going to have to euthanize her. So I talked it over with my husband and we decided to adopt her, and called my Mom back that same night to arrange a pick-up. The next day we drove through a bad snowstorm to meet my Mom in Muskegon. Pita was so nervous, she peed when a person went to pick her up and froze when we tried to have her walk on a leash. In the car on the way home she was very frightened. But the snowstorm had cleared, which I am taking as a sign that this was meant to be.
