Gotcha Date: January 28th 2012 Birthday: June 15th 2011 Likes: Belly rubs Favorite Toy: A bone Favorite Food: She loves food, very food driven, easy to train. Favorite Walk: Strait out the front door of the shelter Best Tricks: She knows sit already, she learned that in 5 minutes. Very intelligent Arrival Story: Macy is an amazing dog. She is a 7 month old collie mix from an extremely high kill shelter in West Virginia after being found as a stray. The shelter employee's begged rescue to take her because of her special personality. We now understand what they meant. Although Macy is still a puppy she is wise beyond her age. She is incredibly affectionate and has a way of hugging you with her head. She loves everyone from men to babies. She greets everyone with a tail wag and will roll on her back for a belly rub. She has a calm, easy going personality. She loves children, is fine with cats. She tries to get them to play. Macy gets along with other dogs once she gets to know them. She is extremely submissive to people. At 35 pounds she still has some growing to do. We are not sure what she is mixed with, we chose collie because she has the long nose, she has australian shepherd fur. She is learning what she is and is not allowed to chew, but she is a quick learn. She is smart as a whip, she picks up new tricks in a matter of minutes. She is housetrained if taken out on a regular basis. She is a phenomenal dog and is going to make someone very happy. Bio: Macy is available through Rogers Rescues.
